Books and reading
Sep. 8th, 2026 11:04 amI have so many books to read right now. So, like, I have a list (which is a compilation of lists from Pinterest) of books on various nonfiction topics. I have a book group book to read by the end of September. I'm reading up on how to lift weights because I don't know and I want to learn. Then there are the books not on the list that I have and want to read, and....
I have a lot of books to read. And I am reading NONE of them. because it's too hard to pick up a book when I can pick up my phone and scroll mindlessly. I have downloaded Opal, on behest of my daughter, and that has helped. But I still. Don't pick up the books. It is so frustrating!
What's even more frustrating is that I have this great outline on how to write a review of a book, and I haven't even done that. Like. Come on, Jill. You can do this, you know.
I can. I just... don't.
Also, I'm so sorry for all the fics all of a sudden! I have three challenges going, and some of them overlap, and so... they're all getting posted like right now.
