Commonplace Notes
Sep. 25th, 2026 10:06 pmI started a commonplace book some time ago, and I've been adding notes to it as I finish books. I've finished quite a few of them, and so going back little by little to write down the things I've found has been more calming than I expected.
Today's book is: HumanKind: A Hopeful History, by Rutger Bregman. The quote I just wrote (found in chapter one, page 13 of the e-book version) said something I absolutely agree with, and is the reason I don't watch:
"The news, according to dozens of studies, is a mental health hazard."
Ya think?
